It's just as tasty, and many of the dishes are easier to make. And given that their climate is about the same as Chicago's, Korea and Chicago must be sister cities. Below is a recipe for bol-gol-gi (Korean bbq), bbq'd sliced beef. My mom makes it whenever I come for a visit. B likes it even more than I do! Ingredients 1 lb Sirloin tips sliced very thin, about 1/8" (best to do this when meat is not all-the-way thawed; slice with a chefs knife dipped in hot water) Marinade
Fried Rice And the best way to use your leftover bol-gol-gi is to put it in fried rice. This is not your run-of-the-mill fried rice. It's not doused in soy sauce, and it doesn't have so many veggies that you can't even taste the rice. Fried rice is a simple dish that is loved by the emperor as much as the peasants. Simple and tasty.Ingredients
