1. Accomplish your marketing goals with a well-developed marketing plan
(Part 1 in a series on helping you plan and execute your marketing communications pieces)

What messages do you want to communicate in your marketing pieces? Do you find yourself creating marketing pieces that don't communicate key messages consistently? Who is the target audience? How are your competitors doing in the market? A well-developed marketing plan can answer these questions and more. Read the full article.

2. Case study - Jumping Bean completes Novarra's direct mail campaign

Hsuan and Blythe asked the right questions to get the job done, and pushed for clarification when needed.

Manager, Marketing Communications
Novarra, Inc.
Read the case study

Novarra, a developer of instant wireless software, was about to launch its new wireless product for supply chain management, InstantWireless. Part of their product launch plan called for sending out direct mailer cards to potential customers who had made significant investments in J.D. Edwards WorldSoftware and OneWorld applications -- the target audience for InstantWireless. The direct mailer card would generate prospect leads by instructing people to visit the Novarra Web site and download a white paper that described the benefits of InstantWireless.

The problem? The launch was one week away - and they still didn't have a white paper ready. Read how Jumping Bean developed a white paper for Novarra that was on time and within budget.

3. Hire a complete creative team

Want to refresh your Web site? Develop a set of brochures and sales slicks? Or assemble a direct mail campaign? To execute these projects, you need more than just copywriters. ¼ teaspoon each of black pepper and paprika
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

5. Tip: Make document reviewing easy with Microsoft® Word's routing feature

When working on a document, a fresh set of eyes is indispensable to spot typos, organizational problems, and other mistakes. But if several people are reviewing your document at once, chances are you'll be banging your head against the keyboard trying to sort through multiple versions of the same document.

Microsoft Word and Outlook® (2000 and XP) make it easy to gather comments from many people in a single document. Using Word's built-in routing feature, you can set up a routing queue using your contacts in Outlook to send the document out for review. Once someone has reviewed your document, Outlook automatically forwards it to the next person in the queue. After the last person has reviewed your work, Outlook routes one document -- with everyone's comments -- back to you.

To route a document to a group of people:
