Tips: Zooming to magnify your text

.Are you one of those lucky ones who has a laptop with a 17" screen? Or better yet, a desktop with a 30" inch flat-screen monitor? Great, you can see EVERYTHING!

But can you read the text? Not unless you switch resolutions—which then makes you wonder why the heck you blew $2500 on that 30" Apple® Cinema Display in the first place!

Don't fret. In Microsoft Word it's quite easy to zoom in on the text. Sure, you can use the Tool menu, select Zoom, and choose how much you want to magnify the text. But who has time for that? To make your text easier to read, press the Ctrl button on your keyboard, and use the wheel on your mouse to zoom in, zoom out. It works with most Microsoft Office programs and many other Windows programs as well (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.).
